Course Description

Course Title: Educ 210 Foundation of Education
Course Description: This study relides heavily on the disciplines and methodologies of the humanties, particulartly history and philosophy, and the social sciences. Its purpose is to bring these discplinary resources to task in developming interpretive and critical perspectives on education, both inside and outsiede of schools. Moreover, this introduces students to interpretive uses of knowledge relevant to eeucation and to establish a basis for life-long learning through critical reflection of education within its historical, philosophical, cultural, and social contexts.
